A tattoo can be poorly executed, located in an unwanted area, lose clarity and aesthetic appeal over time, or no longer suit your preferences.
Laser tattoo removal allows you to gradually lighten or completely remove an unwanted design, restoring a more natural and polished appearance to your skin.
Modern cosmetology offers an effective and non-traumatic method of tattoo removal based on the action of intense pulsed light combined with radiofrequency (ELOS). It destroys all ink molecules, regardless of their depth, without damaging the skin. Furthermore, thanks to the selective action of this technology, adjacent tissue is not damaged, and the skin’s natural pigmentation remains intact. Using the latest ELOS photosystems, it is possible to treat the entire tattoo surface, breaking down the deepest layers of ink.
Thanks to its advantages, intense pulsed light is effective against tattoos of various colors and quality, including professionally performed work. It is also effective in removing permanent makeup from various areas of the face, such as eyebrows, eyelids, and lips. The Elos procedure avoids the lengthy recovery period associated with severe skin trauma associated with other corrective techniques. Positive results are visible after the first treatment.
A series of pulses allows light to penetrate deep into the skin, and the selective principle ensures that only those cells containing the dye are affected. The mechanism of action is photodestruction, which disrupts the bonds between the dye molecules. This ensures complete preservation of the remaining tissue. Currently, this is the fastest, safest, and most effective method of tattoo removal. The number of treatments required for complete tattoo removal depends on the quality and size of the tattoo, the type of dye, and the color range. The rate of degradation varies among different dyes.
Dark colors, as well as red, green, and blue, fade faster. White, yellow, and light blue tattoos will require more treatments. Small and simple designs can be removed in a single session. Post-treatment skin redness may occur, but this fades within a couple of days. Compared to other tattoo removal methods, using intense pulsed light offers several advantages. Firstly, it causes minimal trauma to the skin; secondly, positive results are seen after just one treatment; thirdly, it can remove even deeply embedded dyes.
The number of tattoo removal procedures depends on many factors:
The more intense and saturated the tattoo ink color, the more difficult tattoo removal is;
The difficulty level of tattoo removal depends on the depth of the ink in the skin;
The properties of the skin itself also play a significant role in the effectiveness of tattoo removal;
Removing a tattoo from sensitive skin is quite difficult;
Depending on the size of the tattoo, a laser tattoo removal session can last up to 30 minutes.
