    What is it?

Plasmolifting is the commercial name of PRP-therapy technology. This method is based on the introduction of a patient’s blood plasma, rich in platelets.

    What is Plasmolifting procedure like?

A day before the delivery of the biochemical blood test, it is necessary to exclude fatty and fried foods from the diet as well as food with a high content of preservatives. 4 hours before the procedure, it is recommended to refrain from eating and to drink a lot.

In the leading clinics, the entire procedure takes place only on certified equipment. To obtain a platelet-rich plasma (PRP), intended for subcutaneous and intradermal injections, blood is taken from a patient in a special tube intended for Plasmolifting. The procedure is absolutely safe and does not cause strong pain – in fact, blood sampling is similar to taking a conventional intravenous analysis. At the next stage, the blood is purified and placed into a special centrifuge, where it is divided into three fractions: a platelet-poor plasma (PPP), platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and red blood cells. The fraction most enriched with activated platelets (PRP) is selected.

This technology features the possibility of obtaining plasma with a concentration of platelets to 950-1200 thousand cells per 1 ml of plasma at room temperature. The process of obtaining of PRP is automated and takes about 15 minutes.

Further, the plasma obtained is without delay introduced into the dermis of a patient according to a certain scheme. After the introduction of plasma into the mesh layer, the active fibroblasts are located along the lines of natural age stretching (Langer’s lines). As a result of the development of new fibres of collagen and elastin, tightening of the natural skin is carried out. While in plasmolifting plasma is introduced according to the principle of mesotherapy, that is, not deeper than the papillary layer of the dermis, then the production of hyaluronic acid is activated to a greater extent. The procedure takes about an hour and does not require anaesthesia (if necessary, local anaesthesia is possible).
