    What is back cleansing?

The skin on the back requires high-quality and regular cleansing just as much as the skin on the face. The methods used by estheticians for back cleansing are similar to those used for facial cleansing. The only difference is that the skin on the back is rougher and less sensitive.

    Ultrasonic Back Cleansing

Ultrasonic back cleansing is a method of cosmetic device therapy that is more delicate, gentle, and safe compared to mechanical cleansing. Ultrasound effectively removes dead skin cells, cleanses pores of impurities, unclogs sebaceous glands, and stimulates cellular metabolism.

The procedure lasts approximately 60–80 minutes. Ultrasonic cleansing will not leave any redness on your back—you’ll be able to wear open dresses or tank tops as early as the next day. Additionally, the procedure is painless.

    Mechanical Back Cleansing

Mechanical cleansing removes blackheads, whiteheads, sebaceous plugs, and milia. The procedure is performed manually by a cosmetologist using a special Uno spoon. Typically, the back cleansing procedure lasts about 1.5 hours.

It is important to remember that mechanical back cleansing may be accompanied by some discomfort. In addition, redness and discomfort may persist for up to two weeks after the procedure. Nevertheless, after these temporary inconveniences, your back skin will remain clean, velvety, and beautiful for a long time.
